On February 9, an open dialogue was held under the chairmanship of the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, with entrepreneurs engaged in economic activities with the countries of Central Asia.
More than 30 business representatives took part in the event.
The parties discussed measures to increase export deliveries, implement joint investment projects, and expand the presence of Uzbek companies in Central Asian markets.
Entrepreneurs raised a number of practical issues arising in the course of export operations, including those related to procedures at border crossing points, optimization of transportation costs, and further improvement of export support instruments. The importance of developing coordinated solutions and effectively utilizing existing bilateral mechanisms to ensure stable and uninterrupted supplies was emphasized.
Business representatives expressed their readiness to establish joint ventures in neighboring countries, primarily in light industry and construction materials production, highlighting the importance of leveraging financial instruments and the capacities of joint development funds.
According to the results of 2025, mutual trade turnover between Uzbekistan and the Central Asian countries amounted to USD 8,284.6 million (+15.2%).
A responsible officer of the Ministry has been individually assigned to each initiative proposed by entrepreneurs, bearing personal responsibility for its timely and effective implementation.
