PwC Conducts Training on Developing Uzbekistan’s National Export Strategy

On November 5, 2025, at the initiative of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, PwC organized a training session for senior officials of relevant ministries and agencies on the topic “Developing an Export Strategy.”
During the event, PwC specialists presented the main directions of the National Export Strategy, developed based on an in-depth analysis of Uzbekistan’s export system. The document envisions increasing export volumes through higher value-added products, expanding product and geographic diversification, developing transport and logistics infrastructure, and enhancing institutional support for exporters.
The presentation was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade as well as entrepreneurs from the textile, leather-footwear, and silk industries. Participants exchanged views on key objectives of the strategy, including improving competitiveness in international markets, simplifying product certification procedures, and expanding the export of branded goods.
At the conclusion of the event, both sides noted that the National Export Strategy will serve as an important instrument for successfully promoting Uzbek products in international markets and enhancing the country’s overall economic competitiveness.
