On November 5, 2025, the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) kicked off in Shanghai, China. The event is attended by a delegation of Uzbek entrepreneurs and representatives of relevant ministries and agencies, led by Ilzat Kasimov, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The National Pavilion of the Republic of Uzbekistan showcases around 200 types of products from domestic enterprises in the mining, agriculture, textile, silk, leather-footwear, and chemical industries - all actively exported to the Chinese market. The exposition highlights Uzbekistan’s strong industrial and export potential, reflecting the country’s strategic course toward expanding foreign economic relations and strengthening cooperation with China.
The exhibition program also includes thematic forums, panel sessions, conferences, and meetings with representatives of leading Chinese companies. These events aim to develop partnership relations, exchange experience, and attract investment into priority sectors of the economy, thereby further reinforcing business ties between Uzbekistan and China.
