Uzbekistan and Pakistan Agreed to Strengthen Cooperation in Education, Science, and Vocational Training

During the meeting, the sides discussed the establishment of cooperation in education, scientific research, student and faculty exchange programs, as well as in the field of vocational training.
Qo‘ng‘irotboy Sharipov provided information about the reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan’s education system, the measures taken to strengthen scientific potential, and the efforts to support innovative initiatives.
Ms. Wajiha Qamar expressed great interest in Uzbekistan’s experience in the field of vocational education and expressed confidence that such cooperation would bring significant results for both countries. She also expressed her intention to support the development of Pakistan’s private education sector by benefiting from Uzbekistan’s experience.
The meeting also addressed issues such as developing cooperation in medicine, textiles, and industry, implementing distance learning projects, ensuring youth employment, and sharing experiences in the field of labor migration.
Both sides agreed to jointly train highly qualified specialists, implement scientific and practical projects, and organize international competitions and initiatives in the field of vocational education.
