The guests were welcomed with the anthem of the institute performed by the members of the "FarPI choir" consisting of students. After that, the minister made a speech and emphasized that the topic of today's seminar is relevant and that it is necessary to closely study the activities of advanced engineering schools in the institute. Also, the minister congratulated Muhayyo Yoldashova, a student of the institute, on receiving the state award named after "Zulfiya" and gave souvenirs.
The participants of the seminar were introduced to the activities of the "Renaissance hall" and "Student oficce" created for independent education of students of the institute.
Then, a seminar on "Advanced engineering schools in Uzbekistan: concept and prospects" was held. Rectors and directors of 33 technical higher education institutions of our republic took part in it..The main goal of this project is to establish advanced engineering schools in cooperation with high-tech companies that are the locomotives of the country's economy, to train highly qualified personnel who will serve the country's technological, social and economic development, to increase the scope of innovative products, to advance education beyond production. and finding technological solutions to the social problems of large enterprises and the population. Also, an educational cluster based on the principle of "problem-research-product" is implemented in this engineering school. The rector of the institute, Oktam Salomov, gave detailed information to the participants of the seminar about the effective organization of the activities of the engineering schools.
After the seminar, as part of the "Green Space" nationwide project, Minister K. Sharipov and the heads of higher education institutions planted ornamental plants on the territory of the institute and named it "Rector's Garden".
The participants of the seminar got acquainted with the activities of 19 centers and 14 spin-off enterprises under the centers, which are intended for scientific and innovative production and services in various fields at the Fergana Polytechnic Institute. Products and innovative projects produced by students in these centers made a great impression on the guests.
The last destination of the participants was getting acquainted with the activities of the "Construction-testing laboratory" and "Scientific-research, educational production complex" organized by the institute.
