The delegation of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on a working visit to Germany, held a meeting with the German bank KFW.
Issues regarding the implementation of a project to strengthen the material and technical base of professional educational institutions in the regions and personnel training based on international standards were discussed with representatives of the bank.
Mr. Petar Georgiev, manager for Central Asia of the German bank KFW, announced support for this important project worth 42 million euros. The cooperation agreement was signed by the First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Komiljon Karimov and Mr. Petr Georgiev.
During the meeting, new areas of cooperation on the transition to a green economy in the field of vocational education were discussed and an agreement was reached on joint work.
