During the visit, an instruction was given to introduce the best practices and modern facilities developed at Karshi State University into the activities of other higher education institutions across the country.
To ensure the implementation of the Head of State’s instructions and share the university’s experience with other higher education institutions, an experience-sharing event was organised, bringing together rectors from nearly 200 higher education institutions.
During the event, university leaders familiarised themselves with the institution’s activities in education, science, innovation and digital governance, as well as the facilities and opportunities provided for students and academic staff. In particular:
Solar Energy Training and Research Facility — a solar photovoltaic power station with a total capacity of 1.5 MW. In addition to meeting the university’s electricity needs, it also serves as a practical training facility for students.
Modern Academic Building of the Faculty of Foreign Languages — equipped with centres for learning six foreign languages, a media studio, a simultaneous interpretation classroom, language laboratories and a testing centre offering opportunities to take international examinations.
Lochin Football Club Stadium — a modern sports facility with a seating capacity of 1,400 spectators, contributing to the development of professional sports and encouraging wider student participation in physical education and sports.
Conference Palace — a modern venue designed to host national and international events, including conferences, forums, symposia and academic and educational gatherings.
Student Services Centre — a digital service hub designed to make services more accessible to students through digitalisation, streamlined administrative processes and greater transparency.
“Safe Area — Safe Student” Situation Centre — an initiative aimed at creating a safe learning environment at the university and preventing potential incidents.
International Research Laboratories Centre — a complex comprising seven modern laboratories specialising in chemistry, soil science, green energy, nanoelectronics, microbiotechnology, physiology and artificial intelligence.
The visit concluded with a seminar at the Youth Centre, where participants were presented with the reforms underway at the university, its achievements and future development plans. The participants also discussed ways to scale up best practices and expand scientific and academic cooperation among higher education institutions.
