Creating Conditions for Quality Education and Unlocking Every Child’s Potential

Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Uzbekistan Erkinjon Turdimov reviewed presentations delivered by officials responsible for the preschool and school education sectors. The meeting featured an in-depth discussion of the current state of the education system, existing challenges, and practical proposals for addressing them.
Particular attention was paid to the comprehensive development of children and their effective preparation for school in preschool educational organizations, as well as improving teaching standards and students’ mastery of academic subjects in general education schools.
Key agenda items included enhancing the prestige and status of teachers in society, relieving educators of excessive paperwork, and significantly reducing the number of meetings held by the system’s management. These measures are aimed at creating the necessary conditions for teachers to focus their primary efforts on improving the quality of the educational process, educating every child, and nurturing each child’s individual abilities.
