Issues Related to the Implementation of the “Xavfsiz talaba” (Safe Student) Platform and Ensuring Student Safety Discussed

The meeting, organized at the initiative of the Prosecutor General’s Office, was attended by officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Education and Science, as well as heads of higher education institutions in Tashkent.
The meeting provided a detailed review of ongoing efforts and the current status of recording information on student dormitories in the “EduBilling” information system. Participants also discussed the integration of video surveillance systems and access control and management systems (ACS) installed in academic buildings and student dormitories with the Situation Center.
In addition, participants were introduced to the capabilities of the “Safe Student” platform and its mobile application. Particular attention was paid to the platform’s potential to enhance student safety, monitor ongoing situations, and improve coordination among the relevant services.
At the conclusion of the meeting, shortcomings identified at individual higher education institutions were reviewed. Those responsible were provided with guidance on addressing the identified issues within a short timeframe, and specific tasks were assigned.
