Measures to Implement the Tasks Set by the President Have Been Outlined

The meeting was attended by First Deputy Minister S. Rajabov, Deputy Minister O. Salomov, as well as heads and staff members of the ministry’s structural divisions and affiliated organizations.
During the meeting, priority measures were outlined to ensure the effective implementation of the tasks set by the Head of State for the higher education, science and innovation sectors, as well as their timely and high-quality execution.
In particular, specific tasks were identified to further expand the coverage of dual education at higher education institutions, develop a new generation of textbooks and educational materials, and focus master’s dissertations and scientific research on addressing existing challenges in the real sectors of the economy.
Special attention was also given to developing value chains, strengthening the integration of science and industry, improving the quality and effectiveness of research activities, and putting scientific developments into practice.
Relevant tasks were also outlined to promote scientific developments and new discoveries made by researchers, raise public awareness of their significance for society and the economy, encourage greater youth participation in science, and ensure broader media coverage of scientific activities.
At the conclusion of the meeting, relevant instructions were issued to develop a specific action plan for implementing the designated tasks, assign responsible officials, establish strict monitoring of implementation, and ensure that all assigned tasks are carried out in a timely and high-quality manner.
