At the beginning of the meeting, participants exchanged views on the tasks set by the President for the higher education system, particularly the development of the dual education system, improving the quality of education, accelerating research and innovation activities, strengthening the integration of education and practical training, and enhancing the effectiveness of higher education institutions.

Special attention was paid to the full involvement of fourth-year students in dual education processes, ensuring a close integration of theoretical knowledge with practical training, and effectively organizing the activities of specialized departments at enterprises, organizations and institutions designated as practical training bases for dual education.

The meeting also emphasized the need to ensure employment opportunities for graduates, prepare them as specialists equipped with professional skills that are in high demand in the labour market, and organize entrepreneurship-related classes at higher education institutions in cooperation with experienced and successful entrepreneurs from the region. It was noted that these classes should be delivered directly by entrepreneurs with practical experience.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the proposals and views of the rectors of higher education institutions on the issues discussed were heard. Important measures to be implemented going forward were identified to address existing issues and ensure the effective implementation of the priority tasks.
