Children of teachers to receive a 30 percent discount on tuition fees

Starting from the 2026/2027 academic year, children of teachers who have been admitted to and are studying at state higher education institutions will receive an annual 30 percent discount on their tuition fees.
The discount applies to children of teachers who are studying at the undergraduate level in full-time education at state higher education institutions.
❌ The discount does not apply to students studying:
▪️ at higher military and paramilitary educational institutions;
▪️ at foreign higher education institutions operating in Uzbekistan and their branches;
▪️ under additional or differentiated tuition fee arrangements;
▪️ under joint educational programs or at faculties of foreign partner higher education institutions;
▪️ at non-state higher education institutions.
👨👩👧👦 If several children of a teacher are studying at state higher education institutions on a tuition-fee basis, the discount will be applied separately to each child.
📝 To obtain a tuition fee contract, the teacher’s child submits an application through the kontrakt.edu.uz system.
📲 During the application review process, once the applicant’s status as a teacher’s child is confirmed through the interagency integration platform of the “Digital Government” system, the discount will be applied automatically.
⏳ Applications will be reviewed by the responsible authority within 2 working days.
📌 The discount for children of teachers is granted once per academic year.
❗️If the father or mother of a beneficiary loses their status as a teacher, the discount will no longer be applied starting from the following academic year.
