In this regard, Kungirotboy Sharipov, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, visited the Karakalpak Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies and held a meeting with the heads of higher education institutions and the institute’s staff. Bayram Otemuratov, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, also took part in the meeting.

During the dialogue, particular emphasis was placed on the role of higher education institutions in implementing the new tasks outlined during the visit of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Karakalpakstan.

In particular, the meeting discussed the institute’s priority tasks in developing agriculture and agrotechnologies in the region, introducing modern knowledge and technologies into practice, training specialists in line with labor market requirements, and integrating scientific developments with production.

Proposals and tasks were identified to ensure more effective use of the Karakalpak Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies’ scientific and educational potential for the further development of the region.

At the conclusion of the meeting, in accordance with the relevant order of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Dauletmuratov Mukhamedali Mirzаmuratovich was appointed Rector of the Karakalpak Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies.
