Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Kongratbay Sharipov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Uzbekistan Won Do Yeon.
The parties discussed the prospects for developing cooperation in the field of higher education, which is an important area of cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea.
Currently, six universities of the republic with eight universities of the Republic of Korea have created 9 joint educational programs. The importance of strengthening work in this area was noted.
The parties also considered the issue of expanding joint programs with the involvement of Korean specialists in the field of higher and professional education.
