Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan

During the visit, the Minister reviewed the ongoing construction activities, the current progress of the project, and the facilities being developed as part of the new campus.

Currently, a new campus comprising 16 modern buildings is under construction on a 50-hectare site, with the project being implemented in three phases.

The campus is planned to include schools of engineering, management, natural sciences, medicine, digital technologies and agrotechnologies, an Institute of Advanced Technical Research, an innovation technopark, an industrial and technology hub, an administrative building, a medical centre, student accommodation, a sports complex, a swimming pool, and other social infrastructure facilities.

During the visit, discussions focused on completing the construction of the new campus on schedule and to a high standard, ensuring the quality commissioning of the facilities, and creating a modern educational and research environment that meets international standards.

The Minister issued relevant instructions to accelerate the construction process and ensure the high-quality implementation of the tasks set.
