It provided information on the final results of the admission process for the 2026/2027 academic year, the performance indicators of applicants in the tests, passing scores by field of study, and those recommended for admission on a grant and fee-contract basis.
Additionally, explanations were provided regarding the opportunities opening up for applicants after the mandate results, the conditions for studying on a super-contract basis, the subsequent actions of applicants recommended for admission, and topical issues related to the admission process.
During the conference, information was provided that the application service for student accommodation for students recommended for the 1st year will be launched on August 18, and applications can be submitted through Public Service Centers or the my.gov.uz portal in the prescribed manner.
This year, 677,900 applicants registered online for undergraduate programs. The admission process was organized in two stages based on the "test first, then selection" principle.
The tests were conducted in 64 large-capacity buildings across the republic, and the processes were broadcast via video surveillance and online broadcasting. Approximately 13,000 applicants with national and international certificates, as well as 302 applicants with established benefits, have been exempted from testing.
Based on the test results, 389,100 applicants were eligible to participate in the competition. At the second stage, based on their results, they were given the opportunity to choose a higher education organization, field of study, and form of education.
