Issues of Graduate Employment and the “Admission–2026” Campaign Discussed in Higher Education

The meeting was attended by first vice-rectors (deputy directors) of higher education institutions responsible for youth affairs and spiritual and educational work, vice-rectors (deputy directors) for academic affairs, as well as heads of departments responsible for these areas.
During the meeting, issues related to organizing the assessment of graduates by employers, financing the practical training of final-year students within the framework of the “My First Profession” programme, as well as measures to be implemented as part of the admission process for the 2026/2027 academic year were discussed.
Following the discussions, relevant instructions were given to ensure the timely and high-quality implementation of the assigned tasks, coordinate the activities of responsible personnel, and effectively organize the admission process.
The meeting was held in a hybrid format: representatives of higher education institutions in Tashkent participated in person at the Ministry building, while representatives of higher education institutions in the regions participated online from central studios via the ZOOM platform.
