The Minister got acquainted with the activities of the New Uzbekistan University and the construction of a new campus.

At the beginning of the visit, the Minister inspected the university's modern educational and scientific infrastructure. In particular, they familiarized themselves with the activities of the Mechanics Lab, where conditions created for students studying engineering to reinforce their theoretical knowledge with practical experience, modern laboratory equipment, and the possibilities of designing, testing, and analyzing mechanical systems were demonstrated. It was noted that the laboratory pays special attention to developing students' practical skills, conducting scientific research, and developing innovative engineering solutions.
The Minister also visited the construction site of the new campus of the "New Uzbekistan" University, which is being built in the city of New Tashkent, and got acquainted with the ongoing construction work and project solutions.
The new campus, which is currently being built on an area of 50 hectares, includes 16 modern buildings, and construction work is being carried out in three stages. The campus will house schools of engineering, management, natural sciences, medicine, digital technologies, and agrotechnologies, an Institute of Advanced Technical Research, an innovative technopark, an industrial and technological hub, an administrative building, a medical center, student dormitories, a sports complex, a swimming pool, and other social infrastructure facilities.
During the visit, issues of completing the construction of the new campus on time and with high quality, creating a modern university environment that meets international standards, combining education, science and innovation in a single ecosystem were discussed. The Minister gave relevant instructions to accelerate the construction process, commission the facilities with high quality, and transform the campus into a center for scientific research and innovative developments in the future.
