During the internship, the young engineers explored the academic activities, research environment, and innovation ecosystems of some of the world's leading universities, including Stanford University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Harvard University, University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley), and San Francisco State University.
In addition, with the guidance of experienced mentors from Silicon Valley, the participants gained theoretical knowledge and practical skills in adapting engineering solutions to market needs, transforming them into startup ventures, advancing projects through artificial intelligence technologies, developing business models, attracting investment, and commercializing innovative products.
The international experience gained by these young engineers and researchers in the fields of startups, innovative entrepreneurship, and technology commercialization will contribute to the development of Uzbekistan’s national engineering schools, the commercialization of domestic scientific research, the establishment of new technology companies, and the further strengthening of the country’s innovation capacity.
