During the visit, participants learned about StartX, founded in 2009, its innovation ecosystem developed in collaboration with Stanford University, its startup growth model, and its mentorship programs. Today, the StartX community includes more than 3,000 Stanford founders, 21 unicorn companies, 146 companies valued at over $100 million, and startups with a combined valuation exceeding $200 billion.
The delegation also learned about StartX’s distinctive 0% equity and 0% fee model, under which the accelerator does not require startups to give up equity or pay participation fees. Instead, it supports entrepreneurs through mentorship, access to a global investor network, and international partnership opportunities.
The visit provided participants with valuable insights into Silicon Valley’s innovation ecosystem, startup culture, and the best global practices in technology entrepreneurship and startup development.
