“Future 100” Program: A Group of Ministry Employees and Young Engineering Researchers Are Undergoing an Internship in the United States.

📍 The program opened with an orientation session, during which the leadership of Silkroad Innovation Hub introduced the objectives of the internship, its educational modules, the schedule of practical engagements, and the expected learning outcomes.
💡 Participants also attended a practical seminar dedicated to Silicon Valley’s startup and innovation ecosystem, where experts provided an in-depth analysis of the collaboration mechanisms among universities, technology companies, venture capital funds, accelerators, and startups.
The seminar focused on introducing the following best practices into Uzbekistan’s higher education and innovation ecosystem:
🔹 strengthening support mechanisms for university-based startups;
🔹 expanding the involvement of the private sector and venture capital in the commercialization of research outcomes;
🔹 reinforcing collaboration among universities, startups, investors, and industry;
🔹 applying Silicon Valley’s experience in connecting promising projects with international acceleration programs.

👨🏫 In addition, Professor Georgiy Blank of Stanford University conducted a workshop entitled “Digital Innovation.” The session provided practical insights into innovation-driven entrepreneurship, startup incubation, technology transfer, and modern approaches to the commercialization of scientific research.
