Admission Procedure Approved for the “Rectors’ School” Program at New Uzbekistan University

📝 According to the Regulation:
➖ Candidates aged 30 or older, holding at least a master’s degree, with a minimum of 5 years of work experience in higher education, including at least 2 years in managerial positions, are eligible to apply through an open competitive selection process.
➖ Managerial experience includes service as a rector, vice-rector, director, deputy director, dean, deputy dean, head of department, head of a division or office, as well as other managerial positions involving administrative responsibilities.
➖ Admission is completely free of charge and conducted exclusively through an open competition.
➖ The admission process is held at least twice a year, with an annual intake quota of 80 participants.
The admission process consists of four stages:
1️⃣ Application submission and document review.
2️⃣ Entrance examinations covering:
- Academic governance;
- Finance and economics;
- Research and innovation;
- Spiritual and educational development;
- Artificial intelligence and information technologies;
- English language.
The maximum score is 100 points. Candidates scoring more than 55 points advance to the next stage.
Assessment criteria:
🔹 40 subject-specific test questions – 80 points;
🔹 20 English language test questions – 20 points.
Applicants holding a valid national or international English language certificate at B2 level or higher are awarded the maximum 20 points for the English language component.
3️⃣ Psychological assessment – evaluates candidates’ psycho-emotional stability, leadership and management potential, readiness for professional development, and stress resilience.
The maximum score is 100 points. Candidates scoring more than 55 points proceed to the interview stage.
The assessment consists of 200 questions, with 0.5 points awarded for each correct answer, for a total of 100 points.
4️⃣ Interview – candidates are assessed on:
- Strategic and systems thinking;
- Communication skills;
- Leadership potential;
- Integrity in decision-making;
- Professional knowledge;
- Motivation and readiness to participate in the program.
The maximum score is 100 points. Candidates scoring more than 60 points are included in the final ranking.
The final results will be published on the electronic platform. Candidates who disagree with the results have the right to submit an appeal within five working days.
