Open Dialogue Held with Young Scientists and Specialists in the Pharmaceutical Sector

An open dialogue was held with young scientists, inventors, researchers, and academicians working in the pharmaceutical sector by Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan Qo‘ng‘irotboy Sharipov and Director of the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry Abdulla Azizov. The event was organized to identify pressing challenges facing the pharmaceutical sector and to discuss proposals and initiatives for addressing them.
During the dialogue, participants exchanged views on strengthening the integration of science, education, and innovation in the pharmaceutical sector, enhancing the effectiveness of scientific research, promoting the practical application of innovative developments, supporting young scientists, and advancing promising projects.
At the conclusion of the event, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry.
The Memorandum provides for strengthening bilateral cooperation in promoting the integration of science, education, and innovation, encouraging research activities, training highly qualified professionals for the pharmaceutical sector, and supporting promising scientific and innovative projects in the fields of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.
