Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The event brought together members of the State and Regional Commissions for the Control of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, representatives of relevant government agencies and public organizations, local authorities, specialists and experts, as well as representatives of international organizations, the diplomatic corps, and the media.

As part of the event, law enforcement agencies destroyed by incineration a total of 2 tons 963 kilograms and 610 grams of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, potent substances, and precursors seized from illegal circulation. The destruction process was observed online by participants and media representatives.

At the conclusion of the seminar, a group of specialists who have demonstrated outstanding performance in combating drug abuse, preventing drug-related crime, and promoting a healthy lifestyle were recognized for their contributions.

In particular, Alisher Mansurovich Islomov, Chief Specialist of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was awarded the “Dedicated Fighter Against Drug Abuse” badge of honor.

This prestigious recognition is a testament to his dedicated efforts in combating drug abuse and drug-related crime, ensuring public safety, and promoting a healthy lifestyle throughout society.
