Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Under the memorandum, a joint project aimed at strengthening artificial intelligence capacity in the higher education system will be implemented with grant funding of 870 million Korean won.

The project is designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of university faculty members, researchers, and specialists in the field of artificial intelligence, while also contributing to the further development of the digital education ecosystem.

The cooperation framework includes the introduction of modern AI-focused education and professional development programs, the establishment and implementation of the AI Professor Platform, the development of joint academic programs and international certification mechanisms, the study and adaptation of the Republic of Korea’s advanced practices to Uzbekistan’s national education system, and the promotion of knowledge and experience exchange through expert engagement.

This initiative will support the wider and more effective use of artificial intelligence technologies in higher education, strengthen human capital, and elevate educational and innovation cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea to a new level.
