During the meeting, participants discussed the implementation of the Presidential Resolution of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 26, 2025, “On Measures for the Establishment of the Uzbek-French University.” Strategic development priorities of the university, the organization of the educational process, expansion of international cooperation, and the formation of the university’s governance system were also reviewed.

The agenda included the approval of the Regulations of the Board of Trustees, consideration of the university’s 2026 work plan and budget estimates, determination of admission procedures for master’s degree programs for the 2026/2027 academic year, and discussion of cooperation with the University of Poitiers in the field of educational services.

During the discussions, information was presented on the progress made in establishing the university. In particular, practical measures were outlined to adapt existing infrastructure in Tashkent for the university’s operations, construct additional academic facilities, and strengthen its material and technical base.

Board members also reviewed plans to launch a Master’s program in French Language beginning in the 2026/2027 academic year, as well as admission procedures and the organization of academic activities based on the accredited educational programs of the University of Poitiers.

At the conclusion of the meeting, relevant decisions were adopted to ensure the effective establishment of the university’s organizational, legal, and academic framework, further strengthen cooperation between higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and France, and support the training of highly qualified specialists.
