At the beginning of the event, the university administration provided information about the opportunities being created for young people to receive quality education, engage in scientific research, and realize their potential, as well as the large-scale construction and infrastructure projects implemented in recent years.
The participants of the press tour then visited the university’s modern infrastructure and newly established facilities. These included the five-story academic building of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, the “Institut Français de Karshi” French Language Center, English Language Programs, the KOICA Center, German, Russian, and Chinese Language Centers, the Erasmus+ Programs Office, a media studio, a simultaneous interpretation classroom, and modern lecture halls.
The guests were also introduced to the modern stadium complex built for the “Lochin” Football Club. The complex, constructed in accordance with Pro League standards, includes a 1,400-seat grandstand, a synthetic-surface running track, and a two-story administrative building.
During the press tour, participants also visited the facility that produces clean drinking water by treating underground groundwater using OSMOS technology, the Student Services Center, the Youth Center, the Tourism Practice Center, the academic building of the Faculty of Medicine, the Alternative Energy Sources Laboratory, and the 240-seat “UniKids” preschool educational institution operated by the university, which was officially opened on June 1.
