New Agreements Reached to Strengthen the Integration of Education, Science, and Industry

The Youth Innovation Initiatives Support Office, established under a Presidential Decree, has moved into the practical stage of its operations and conducted its next working visit. Led by the Office Director, Akbarkhon Sobirkhonov, rectors of more than 10 higher education institutions across the country visited JSC “Uzmetkombinat” and took part in a meeting aimed at advancing the integration of industry and education.
During the meeting, proposals were put forward on training modern and competitive professionals for the metallurgical sector, actively involving students in real production processes, launching joint educational programs, and supporting scientific and innovative projects. Special attention was also given to increasing young people’s interest in metallurgy and engineering fields and guiding them toward promising career paths.
The parties reached agreements on key areas of cooperation and agreed to implement joint initiatives aimed at expanding internship and employment opportunities for young specialists, establishing the exchange of information on job vacancies, and elevating the integration of education and industry to a new level.
