August 16 – International Homeless Animals Day!

This observance was established in 1992 by the International Committee for Animal Rights.
We would also like to remind everyone that cruelty to animals, including intentionally torturing them or causing suffering for selfish or other improper motives, may result in a fine ranging from 30 to 50 basic calculation units, in accordance with applicable legislation.
Today is a special day to show kindness and compassion to vulnerable animals that wander the streets in search of shelter and look to people for help during both hot and cold weather.
We wish all animal welfare advocates, volunteers, and animal lovers good health, endless dedication, and great success in their noble mission of protecting and caring for animals.
