The main objective of the congress is to promote the activities and scientific achievements of academicians among young people, increase youth interest in science, encourage the acquisition of modern knowledge and skills, and support the development of scientific and innovative activities within the framework of the “Uzbekistan – 2030” Strategy.

The opening ceremony featured speeches by Kongratbay Sharipov, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Academician Shavkat Ayupov, President of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan; Shavkatjon Abdurazzakov, Governor of Namangan Region; and Odiljon Mamatkarimov, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Science, Education and Healthcare.

During the plenary session, academicians delivered presentations on the development of mathematics, prospects for the energy sector, virology, biophysics, nuclear energy, artificial intelligence, astronomy, history, and other relevant fields. In particular, Academicians Shavkat Ayupov, Kahramon Allayev, Erkin Musabayev, Ravshan Sobirov, Axmed Reymov, Sadritdin Turobjonov, Ilham Sadikov, Komiljon Tojibayev, Shuhrat Egamberdiyev, Anatoliy Sagdullayev, Saidakhror G‘ulomov, and Sirojiddin Zaynobiddinov presented reports on contemporary scientific achievements and promising research directions.

The congress program also included the opening ceremony of the Namangan Regional Branch of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, scientific and creative meetings with students of Presidential Schools and specialized educational institutions, as well as master classes and roundtable discussions for university students and master’s degree candidates.

Held under the slogan “Youth Create Scientific Progress,” the congress serves as an important platform for strengthening the integration of science and education, unlocking the scientific potential of young people, and further enhancing cooperation between academicians and the younger generation.
