October 4 – World Animal Protection Day

Today, people around the world, including in our country, are celebrating this important date. It is observed by dedicated individuals who care for animals that help maintain the purity of nature and the balance of life, as well as by all friends of the animal world.
Many people believe that this day originated in 1931; however, the first Animal Protection Day was actually organized on March 24, 1925, in Berlin by the German cynologist and writer Heinrich Zimmermann.
We sincerely thank all professionals and volunteers engaged in this noble mission of protecting the rights of vulnerable animals, helping them find shelter, and providing them with the care and support they need.
