The international education exhibition was held to strengthen the international promotion of Uzbek higher education institutions, increase interest among Azerbaijani youth in Uzbekistan’s higher education system, and attract international students.
The exhibition brought together 16 higher education institutions from Uzbekistan, which provided prospective students and their parents with detailed information on academic programs, admission procedures, scholarship opportunities, international cooperation programs, and student support services.
During the event, modern educational programs in such fields as medicine, law, journalism, information technology, engineering, geology, architecture and construction, agriculture, foreign languages, business, history, and psychology were actively promoted. Participants received comprehensive information about the universities’ academic and research potential, positions in international rankings, joint programs with foreign partners, and opportunities for academic exchange.
The advantages of pursuing higher education in Uzbekistan attracted considerable interest from visitors. Particular emphasis was placed on the education system’s compliance with international standards, highly qualified faculty members, modern academic infrastructure, relatively affordable tuition fees, and the international recognition of diplomas. Multimedia presentations, virtual laboratory demonstrations, and success stories of graduates presented by the universities left a strong impression on attendees.
As part of the exhibition, a series of meetings and negotiations were held with representatives of educational centers, consulting companies, and educational agencies from Azerbaijan and other countries. Discussions focused on attracting international students, expanding academic exchange programs, launching joint educational projects, establishing scholarship initiatives, and implementing short-term academic and internship programs.
Participants also exchanged views on current trends in the global education market, the expansion of student mobility, the digitalization of educational processes, and strengthening cooperation among universities.
