The Republic of Karakalpakstan has officially launched the “Train to the Aral Sea” Youth Environmental Campaign and the “We Stand with the Aral” Eco-Marathon. Participants were ceremonially welcomed at Nukus Railway Station and began exploring the tourism, cultural, and natural potential of the Aral Sea region.

As part of the program, participants are visiting the city of Nukus, the districts of Kegeyli, Qaraozak, Chimbay, and Muynak, as well as the Chilpyk historical monument, the Dawut Ata pilgrimage site, the Muynak Ship Cemetery, and the I.V. Savitsky State Museum of Arts.
Throughout the campaign, young people are taking part in environmental awareness activities, eco-actions, and creative competitions. These initiatives aim to preserve the natural heritage of the Aral Sea region, promote environmental responsibility, and encourage the development of domestic tourism.
