More than 4,000 graduating students from higher education institutions across the region participated in the event. Nearly 100 employers, including companies and organizations, offered over 800 job vacancies, providing young people with an opportunity to explore positions that matched their qualifications and interests.
During the event, an open dialogue session was held for students and young people, focusing on professional development after employment, personal branding, and the importance of joining professional networks and communities.
Representatives of the “Kelajakka qadam” Center, the Syrdarya Regional Directorate of the National Bank of Uzbekistan, and the regional administration took part in the discussion. They delivered presentations on available job opportunities for youth, possibilities for starting a business, and existing financial support programs.
The presentations also covered employment procedures, vacant positions within the banking sector, preferential loans available to young entrepreneurs wishing to launch their own businesses, as well as financial advisory services and practical support measures.
One of the most significant aspects of the event was the set of initiatives aimed at supporting innovative and promising projects developed by graduating students with entrepreneurial ideas. The authors of the best projects, selected through a competitive process, were awarded preferential loans to help further develop and implement their projects.
In addition, students were introduced to the activities of Mili Teks Sirdaryo, a company located in the Gulistan district that specializes in the production of blended yarn and knitted products. Participants received information about the company’s production processes, modern technologies, and working conditions.
