Plenary Session Held within the Framework of the Uzbekistan–Türkiye Rectors Forum

The plenary session featured presentations by Mehmet Cahit Guran, Rector of Hacettepe University; Bahodir To‘rayev, Acting Rector of the International University of Turkic States; Çidem Canbay Türkyılmaz, Rector of Samarkand State University of Architecture and Construction; Hüseyin Dalgar, Rector of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University; Sherzod Nematov, Rector of Karshi State Technical University; Yusuf Adıgüzel, Rector of Anadolu University; Mehmet Adak, Vice Rector of Istanbul University; and Shuhrat Teshayev, Rector of Bukhara State Medical Institute.
The presentations highlighted the importance of international cooperation in modern higher education, the integration of science and innovation, the expansion of joint academic programs, the promotion of academic mobility, and the implementation of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in the educational process.
Participants of the plenary session emphasized that the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Türkiye is entering a new stage in the field of higher education and exchanged views on further expanding practical cooperation between universities.
