Central Asian and Azerbaijani Women Scientists Forum Held

The event brought together women scientists from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan, along with parliamentary representatives, scientific experts, and specialists from international organizations.
During the forum, participants discussed issues related to expanding scientific cooperation in the region, developing the innovation ecosystem, increasing women’s leadership potential in science, and implementing joint scientific research projects.
Panel sessions were also organized as part of the forum. The first session focused on prospects for regional development through science and innovation, strengthening scientific potential, and the role of women in research activities.
The second session paid special attention to sustainable development, ecology, artificial intelligence, cultural heritage, and public health. Participants also exchanged views on the development of green technologies and the prospects of applying artificial intelligence in education, healthcare, and public administration.
At the end of the event, a Joint Communiqué was adopted on establishing the regional network of women scientists “SheScience Central Asia,” aimed at strengthening scientific cooperation.
