During the study, the First Deputy Minister was accompanied by the Deputy Hokim of the region, Anvar Kobilov, and the Rector of the University, Sherzod Ne'matov.
First, the activities of the "Center for Foreign Languages and Vocational Training," established in cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany, were inspected. The center analyzed issues regarding the quality of the educational process, modern methods, and increasing the competitiveness of young people in the international labor market. Sardor Rajabov had a sincere conversation with the students of the training course and inquired about their desire to learn the language.
It should be noted that within the framework of this project, implemented jointly with the German company "Prosika," it is planned to send 3,000 young people to work in prestigious German companies this year, and a total of 50,000 by 2030.
The next place of study was the recently built Engineering Scientific and Production Center (Fab-lab) at the university. The activities of laboratory and production workshops, in particular, the "Energo Control Lab" energy audit center, the workshop for servicing fire installations, as well as the laboratories of mechatronics and robotics, were studied here. Issues regarding the commercialization of youth innovative ideas and their implementation in production were discussed.
Also today, in connection with Youth Day, an open dialogue was organized in the center building with the participation of student youth. The meeting discussed reforms in our country's education system, the prospects for training engineering personnel, and the achievements of gifted students. The young people gained the opportunity to directly convey their proposals and comments to the leaders.
In conclusion, specific instructions were given to the responsible officials regarding the further improvement of the center's activities and increasing the efficiency of supporting scientific developments.
