The solemn closing ceremony of the festival was attended by the Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilhom Sirozhov, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Kongratbay Sharipov, Minister of Agriculture Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov and Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services Sherzod Hidoyatov, who congratulated the young engineers.
Also during the ceremony, participants who showed high results in competitions and contests were awarded cash prizes, valuable gifts, and the opportunity to undergo internships in leading companies.
This international festival was organized at the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan as part of the ongoing reforms to develop the engineering industry and strengthen the integration of science, education, and industry.
The festival, held on the initiative of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, covered 9 most relevant areas of engineering, during which 34 national and international competitions and practical tests were organized. This year, approximately 14,000 young people have registered to participate in the festival.
Within the framework of the festival, modern developments in aviation, robotics, agricultural technologies, mechanical engineering, chip design, green energy, architecture, and medical engineering were presented. In particular, such competitions as the FPV drone race, the Robo War, the "Robo Coders" competition, and the AI Health Hackathon based on artificial intelligence attracted great interest.
Additionally, within the framework of the festival, international Olympiads, seminars, and scientific-practical forums were organized jointly with the Shanghai Cooperation Organization with the participation of foreign experts, creating an opportunity for young people to exchange global experience.
The international exhibition, organized as one of the important parts of the festival, presented 19 foreign and more than 140 domestic innovative developments. Young engineers were given the opportunity to present their projects to experts and investors.
Within the framework of the event, the "Future Engineers" scientific and educational consortium was launched with the participation of leading universities from the Russian Federation and Central Asian countries.
