First, the minister familiarized himself with the innovative ideas, startup projects, and developments of young startups. At the meeting, which was held in the format of an open dialogue, issues of supporting the intellectual potential of young people, opportunities created for the development of the startup ecosystem, commercialization and introduction of innovative projects of students into the economy were discussed. Young startups expressed their projects, proposals, and initiatives.
Within the framework of the event, the minister spoke about the latest reforms aimed at improving the sector and announced an important news. According to the decree of the head of state, Akbarkhon Sobirkhonov has been appointed director of the newly established Youth Innovation Support Office.
It was noted that the main task of the new office is to provide comprehensive assistance to start-up projects of talented students and young scientists, as well as to integrate scientific achievements with the real sector of the economy.
The head of the office, A. Sobirkhanov, made a presentation on the international festival "Engineers of the Future," which will be held in Tashkent on April 28-30 this year. The planned work on organizing the event at a high level, meeting foreign guests worthily, and the practical benefits of festivals for young people were discussed.
