“The Termez Experience” — A New and Effective Model for Sports Development

Seminar participants ознакомились (eng: got acquainted) with the university’s sports clubs, modern infrastructure, as well as sports medicine and training processes. This creates a solid foundation for the development of sports within the higher education system and for the widespread implementation of the “Termez Experience” nationwide.
The university operates 18 sports facilities, including 6 indoor and 12 outdoor venues, providing extensive opportunities for students.
In addition, professional teams in football, futsal, handball, and volleyball have been formed, and in 2025 they collectively won 309 medals in national and international competitions.
Rectors of higher education institutions and seminar participants from across the country closely examined the advanced experience and existing sports infrastructure at Termez State University, gaining detailed insights into its practical effectiveness and management mechanisms.
Events within the framework of the seminar and sports week will continue until April 24.
