This prestigious sporting event is being held at a high level on April 7–9, 2026, at the sports complex of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University in Tashkent.
This year’s tournament is particularly significant as field hockey has been included in the competition program for the first time. This sport, which requires speed, precision, and strong teamwork, is becoming increasingly popular among young people.
Teams from 9 higher education institutions across the country are participating in the competition, involving more than 100 female students.
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the ministry, sports sector officials, university leadership, and participating teams. The importance of this tournament in developing youth sports, especially in promoting women’s participation in sports, was particularly emphasized.
According to the competition program, qualifying rounds, semifinals, and finals are being held, where winners and prize-winners will be determined. In addition, master classes, cultural programs, and various interactive activities have been organized for student-athletes as part of the event.
