The ceremony was attended by Presidential Administration spokesperson Odil Abdurahmonov, Sports Minister Adham Ikromov, First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Sardor Rajabov, First Deputy Chairman of the National Olympic Committee Otabek Umarov, as well as university rectors, sports federation representatives, and the general public.
Speakers at the ceremony noted that raising healthy and comprehensively developed young people is one of the priority tasks of our state. In particular, it was noted that this Olympiad will raise interest in mass sports and a healthy lifestyle not only among students but also in society at an even higher level.
"We believe that these sports competitions will serve to develop mass sports among student youth, widely promote a healthy lifestyle by creating necessary conditions for them, and will encompass millions of young people in their ranks," emphasized Sardor Rajabov, First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.
All stages of the competition will be monitored through the "ERP-sport" unified electronic management system of the Ministry of Sports.
To date, a total of 168 higher education institutions, including 92 state, 52 non-state, and 24 foreign universities, have registered to participate in this competition.

The total number of students who expressed a desire to participate in the competition is 159,273 people.
📌 The competition will be held in 3 stages:
• Stage 1: April 6-20;
• 2nd stage: May 1-15;
• Final stage: will be held from June 1 to 10 in the Olympic Village in Tashkent.
The comprehensive competition will consist of volleyball, handball, 3x3 basketball, table tennis, football, athletics, swimming (swimming competitions start from the 2nd stage).
