First, Minister Kongratbay Sharipov reported on the work carried out by the Ministry in the 1st quarter of 2026 to fulfill the tasks set by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Head of the Presidential Administration, and the Government in the field of higher education, science, and innovation.
During the reporting period, the Ministry received 152 documents of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan through the "Ijro.gov.uz" system. Of these, 33 are Presidential decrees, 92 are Presidential resolutions, 3 are Presidential orders, and 24 are minutes of Presidential meetings.
These documents assigned a total of 484 tasks to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, including 107 within the framework of Presidential decrees, 321 based on Presidential resolutions, 3 based on Presidential orders, and 53 based on the minutes of Presidential meetings.
Of these instructions, 459 were completed within the established deadlines, and 25 were executed late. This indicates that most of the tasks assigned to the ministry were completed on time.
Also, during the 1st quarter of 2026, the Ministry received 72 documents of the Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Within the framework of these documents, 140 tasks have been assigned to the ministry. During the reporting period, 125 tasks were completed on time, and 15 were completed late.
At the same time, 17 documents of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan were received by the Ministry through the "Ijro.gov.uz" system. Of the 48 tasks specified in them, 45 were completed within the established deadlines, and 3 were completed late. In general, in the first quarter of 2026, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation carried out the main part of the tasks of the President, the Head of the Presidential Administration, and the Government, received through the "Ijro.gov.uz" system, in a timely and high-quality manner. This once again confirms the priority of executive discipline, responsibility, and a systematic approach in the ministry's activities.
Then the citizens contacted the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation on issues of interest to them.
During the mobile reception, citizens' appeals were heard regarding the resumption and transfer of studies, obtaining a diploma, paying tuition fees, scientific innovation and startup projects, curricula, subject programs and educational and methodological literature, the opening of a scientific council for awarding academic degrees, the introduction of the State Nominal Scholarship named after Mahmud az-Zamakhshari, and other issues.
Specific explanations were given on each issue with the participation of specialists, assignments were given to the relevant officials, and measures were identified for their solution.
