For the first time, the “New Uzbekistan Student Olympiad” is starting!

The event will be attended by the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration for Education Reform, Ilhom Sirojev, the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Kongratbay Sharipov, the Minister of Sports, Adham Ikramov, as well as students from 14 regions and representatives of higher educational institutions. At the event, the symbolic start button will be pressed, and the Olympiad officially kicks off.
This Olympiad is being held to widely promote a healthy lifestyle among students and identify talented young athletes.
All stages of the competition are monitored through the Ministry of Sport's “ERP-sport” unified electronic management system.
To date, 168 higher education institutions, including 92 state, 52 non-state, and 24 foreign universities, have been registered to participate in the competition.
The total number of students who expressed a desire to participate in the competition is 159,273 people.
📌 The competition will be held in 3 stages:
• Stage 1: April 6-20;
• 2nd stage: May 1-15;
• Final stage: will be held from June 1 to 10 in the Olympic Village in Tashkent.
The comprehensive competition will consist of volleyball, handball, 3x3 basketball, table tennis, football, athletics, swimming (swimming competitions start from the 2nd stage).
