Winner of the “Green University” Competition Awarded a BYD Chazor Electric Vehicle

As a Presidential gift, a BYD Chazor electric vehicle was presented to the institute’s team, which considers environmental responsibility an integral part of the educational process.
It is worth noting that out of the university’s 24-hectare territory, more than 22,000 fruit and ornamental trees have been planted across 21 hectares, creating a large green area. In addition, a drip irrigation system has been introduced to ensure efficient use of water resources. The institute has also installed solar panels with a capacity of 650 kW, which helped reduce electricity consumption by 67 percent in the past year alone.
Furthermore, within the framework of the event, trees were planted on the territory of the Samarkand State University of Architecture and Construction as part of the nationwide “Yashil Makon” (Green Space) initiative.
