In recent years, significant efforts have been made to modernize the higher education system, ensure transparency, and pursue an uncompromising fight against corruption. However, the illegal and irresponsible actions of a single individual can cast a shadow over the ongoing reforms within the entire system and create a misleading perception among the public.
At the same time, this incident once again demonstrates an important reality: the anti-corruption mechanisms established in our country are functioning. Any illegal act, regardless of who commits it, will be uncovered and those responsible will be held strictly accountable in accordance with the law.
It should also be emphasized that the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation maintains an absolutely uncompromising stance toward any form of corruption and strictly adheres to the principle of zero tolerance in this regard.
In this regard, we would like to warn citizens and entrepreneurs: the licensing process for higher education institutions is carried out in accordance with current legislation and is fully digitalized. The submission of applications, their review, and the decision-making process are conducted openly and transparently through official electronic platforms.
The Ministry urges citizens and entrepreneurs not to trust intermediaries or suspicious offers. All processes related to the establishment and licensing of higher education institutions are carried out strictly in accordance with the official procedures defined by law.
Combating corruption, ensuring transparency, and upholding the rule of law remain among the ministry’s top priorities. Strict and uncompromising measures will be taken within the framework of the law against any cases related to corruption and fraud.
