The revision of the classifier is directly linked to the real needs of economic sectors, employer requirements, and global trends in science and technology. Today, the labour market requires a new generation of specialists — digitally literate, adaptable, capable of interdisciplinary thinking, and committed to lifelong professional development.
The new edition introduces 13 new bachelor’s degree fields and 15 new master’s specializations, covering the fastest-growing sectors of the economy, including:
-
digital technologies and artificial intelligence;
-
cybersecurity and information systems protection;
-
engineering and high-tech manufacturing;
-
modern economics and innovation management;
-
healthcare and medical technologies;
-
economics of the future and other promising areas that form sustainable development..
The new programmes were developed based on proposals from the real sector and employers, ensuring closer alignment of higher education with industry, business, and the social sector. The updated State Educational Standard aims to introduce a competency-based training model, strengthen practice-oriented learning, expand the use of digital education platforms, and promote academic mobility.
