Project to Establish a Japanese University in Uzbekistan Discussed

On February 23, the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Qo‘ng‘irotboy Sharipov, met with Yuki Kake, President of Kibi International University of Japan.
During the meeting, the parties thoroughly discussed the stages of implementing the joint project to establish a Japanese university in Uzbekistan, as well as its legal, organizational, and infrastructural aspects.
Particular attention was given to launching joint academic programs, training highly qualified specialists in engineering and innovation, and promoting scientific research and academic exchange.
The parties emphasized that the academic cooperation agreement signed between the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Kibi International University will serve as a solid institutional foundation for advancing the project to its practical implementation phase.
