To ensure the implementation of the tasks outlined during the video conference meeting chaired by the President, practical projects have been launched at Karshi State Technical University. Within this initiative, special emphasis is placed on the comprehensive development of mahallas, improvement of infrastructure, and shaping a modern architectural and urban landscape.

A seminar was held in the Gulshan mahalla in cooperation with the regional branch of the Uzbekistan Mahalla Association, the regional office of the Agency for Management Efficiency, and the Qarshi district administration. Key issues discussed included the development of the mahalla master plan, modern construction of rural streets, and implementation of construction and energy infrastructure projects.
Approximately 800 architecture students from the university will be involved in developing master plans for 99 mahallas across the region. Their future research activities will also focus on identifying local challenges and proposing effective solutions for these territories.
A prize of 100 million UZS is planned to be awarded to the student team that develops the most innovative and impactful project aimed at transforming the appearance of the mahallas.
