Director General of the organisation Dr. Salim Al-Malik expressed satisfaction with Uzbekistan's increasing activity in the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and its structures, and expressed readiness to consider all proposals related to the expansion of cooperation between Uzbekistan and ICESCO countries.

Director General of the organisation expressed hope that Uzbekistan will participate in the III Islamic Conference of Ministers of Education, which will be held in Muscat of the Sultanate of Oman on 2-3 October 2024, and invited the leadership of the ministry to take part in it.

The Uzbek side proposed to consider the possibility of cooperation with ICESCO in organising and holding the Global Forum of Arabists , which is planned to be held in Tashkent in November 2024.  

Director General of ICESCO stated his readiness to cooperate in the organisation of this forum and expressed his support to the appointment of ICESCO as an official partner of the forum. 

As a result of the dialogue, the possibility of further expansion of cooperation between the youth of Uzbekistan and ICESCO member countries in the field of innovation was considered, in particular, the possibility of organizing a separate international event, including training seminars for the authors of startup projects in one of the universities of Uzbekistan.
